Discipline of Pulmonology

The Department of Pulmonology is responsible for the provision of clinical services, academic and professional education and research in Internal Medicine. Our clinical services are provided primarily at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital.

Our staff makes a significant contribution to research in both the clinical and the basic sciences, and increasing the size of this contribution is an important goal of the Division.
